On August 26th, Executive Vice President of ADBC Mr. Zhang Wencai participated in the International Forum on Global Governance and Shared Future co-organized by the Academy of Contemporary China and World Studies under China Foreign Languages Publishing Administration (China International Publishing Group) and Europe-China Forum, and delivered a speech on transforming the global governance system post Covid-19 via video link. Mr. Zhang stressed the importance of improved global governance in jointly fighting the coronavirus pandemic, tackling climate change and promoting global sustainable development in the post Covid-19 era from perspectives of global supply of public goods, macro policy coordination and international cooperation and exchange. The forum attracted 21 experts and scholars from China, France, Italy, Switzerland, Bulgaria and Australia who had discussions around the topic of promoting a community of shared future for mankind amid new dynamics of global governance. Heads of Institute of Rural Finance and Development, and International Department of ADBC were also present.
