On October 28th 2021, Executive Vice President of ADBC Mr. Zhang Wencai attended the 2021 AIIB Annual Meeting. At the high level seminar on Gender and Infrastructure in the Post Covid World, Mr. Zhang shared with the panelists ADBC’s rural infrastructure projects that benefited women, and highlighted the importance of project design, balancing physical and social infrastructure, supporting productive sectors and developing new-type infrastructure (i.e. digital and connectivity infrastructure) in promoting all-around development of women and gender equality in the post Covid era.

With the theme “Investing Today, Transforming Tomorrow”, this year’s AIIB annual meeting is held in digital form from October 26th to 28th.
