Executive Vice President Sun Lansheng met the delegation from Asian Development Bank (ADB) led by Safdar Parvez, Country Director of ADB’s PRC Resident Mission on February 20. The two sides reviewed their cooperation following the signing of Memorandum of Understanding on Promoting Rural Revitalization in People’s Republic of China and exchanged opinions on enhancing cooperation on the development of agriculture, rural areas and farmers, green and low-carbon development and ecological and environmental protection. The two sides agreed to work on the basis of the MOU to further expand areas of cooperation, diversify cooperation models and conduct more pragmatic cooperation and exchanges.

Senior officers from ADB’s East Asia Bureau and PRC Resident Mission and ADBC’s departments joined the event.
